St. John Lutheran Church, Preschool & Childcare is located on the north side of County Hwy H (Fredonia Ave), 1 mile west of State Hwy 57. If coming from the west, we are approximately 2 miles east of County Hwy I.
We boldly proclaim the Gospel of Christ crucified to take away the sins of the world. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
Our worship is traditional and centered upon God’s Word and Sacraments, the places in which He has chosen to come among His people with power to create and nourish faith, and to equip and motivate them to live lives in keeping with His will.
We are a member congregation of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS), a major international church body that operates world-class seminaries, a university system (including Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon), and a great number of Lutheran high schools and parochial schools.
St. John has offered an excellent Christian preschool program since 1992. In 2002 Christian childcare was added upon the completion of a modern classroom and childcare facility. The congregation also offers financial assistance to families desiring to send their children to Lutheran schools and high schools. St. John is a member of the Living Word Lutheran High School Association of Jackson, WI.
Sunday School is an important part of the work we do at St. John. Our dedicated volunteer teachers work hard to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to children ages 3 and up. In the summer St. John runs a popular weeklong Vacation Bible School for the entire community.
During the school year the congregation provides comprehensive Confirmation Instruction for children in Grades 6-8.
