About Us:

• We boldly proclaim the Gospel of Christ crucified to take away the sins of the world. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God.

• Our Divine Services are liturgical and centered upon God’s Word and Sacraments, the places in which He has chosen to come among His people with power to create and nourish faith, and to equip and motivate them to live lives in keeping with His will.

• We are a Confessional Lutheran congregation, subscribing to the Unaltered Augsburg Confession (UAC) and the entirety of the Lutheran Confessions as found in the Book of Concord, and are a member congregation of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Christian Education

• Home Catechesis, Sunday School, First Communion, Middle School Confirmation and Youth Groups are important parts of our mission at St. John to equip and prepare the children entrusted to our care to grow up to become active members in the Body of Christ. Our Pastor and dedicated volunteer teachers work hard to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to children of all ages. In the summer St. John runs a week-long Vacation Bible School for the entire community.

• St. John has offered an excellent Lutheran Preschool program since 1992. In 2002 a Christian childcare was added upon the completion of a modern classroom and childcare facility. The congregation also offers financial assistance to families desiring to send their children to Lutheran schools and high schools.

• St. John is currently pursuing the opportunity to join other LCMS congregations in our area to open an association Classical Lutheran Day-school. More information is available upon request.
