Preschool (Ages 3-5)
A Whole New World
Your preschooler will ask questions about everything. This helps build their linguistic skills with general knowledge. At this time, their intellect is developing so rapidly that lessons include activities to help develop language/vocabulary, writing, math, and reading skills—all of which will be needed later in kindergarten. Mastering skills and tasks such as tying shoe laces, cutting with scissors, painting and drawing allow budding students to take more responsibility for their personal care and help build self-esteem.
Group time is also an integral part of your preschooler’s day, when your child leans to enhance his or her social skills. Our teachers invite your child to listen, share, take turns, cooperate and demonstrate curiosity. These social development skills support your preschooler’s ability to flourish in a classroom and demonstrate new learning—while having fun!
